| 08/19/05 | Bergstresser | I remember the Wild Man from Nazareth, must have been sometime around the mid to late 60s. Elton always had some of the nicest looking equipment, orange and black 16 J. I don't recall him winning, more of a mid pack kind of guy. I remember the track announcer would really play up Elton's name especially with that "Wild Man" in it. He always ran very clean races, in fact I can't remember him being in a wreck. I hope I got all this right, time does play tricks on you. |
