01/25/04 Jim Brewer This GSVSCC material is great!!!!

If this is 1968 this may be Don MacTavish's ride.  I know he drove for Wright/Zautner that year but I need to do a little research to see if he was with them at Langhorne.   This is the team that Kenny Shoemaker made famous from late1964 (remember the Langhorne controversy with Freddy Adam?) thru 1967.  I'm not sure when Mack got the ride or when he left.

It looks like the #24 is pitted next to the Stump Jumper Special #909 driven by Bobby Santos - - another NASCAR modified during the regular season.

01/25/04 TOM VROOM  THE WHITE 24 AT LANGHORNE IS  NOT SONNY STRUPP.   LOOKS LIKE AN UPSTATE NY CAR, MAYBE EVEN SHOEMAKER  (ONLY A GUESS BUT I DO KNOW ITS NOT ONE OF SONNY'S CARS)   GOOD PHOTOS -  THANKS TOM VROOM
01/26/04 Larry Jendras Jr I agree with Jim that this is Don MacTavish.  He drove this car about the 1968 time frame and finished 6th at Langhorne that year.
03/28/04 Harry Cella I think this was driven by Don Mc Tavish. I have to check my library, I have the Don Mctavish story which was published after he lost his life at Daytona.
07/09/04 Jerry is that gary winters in the background?
03/19/06 Ed Duncan The car next to the 24 is the 909 of Bobby Santos from Millis,Mass.  His grandson is Bobby Santos III who drives ISMA supers an NEMA&USAC midgets.
