Comments: Comment:  I don't know the details, but since Frankie is at a race track and is not in his racing uniform, I am thinking that this was a time when Frankie was injured and not racing(?).  I wonder if possibly Don was driving a car normally driven by Frankie and that's why they are both victory lane with the trophy?  (Just a guess... hopefully someone out there will be able to provide the actual story.)

Don Stives 

This picture was taken at Weisglass (sp) stadium in 1955. Yes, it was a benefit for Frankie Schneider who was burned at a race at Vineland.
