Comments: | Comment: Wayne in colors most often seen on Buzzie's cars. I'm not a suspension/chassis guy, but maybe one of you guys that are can tell us what in the heck is going on with those short little springs on the front end. |

01.06.16 | John McCaughey | I believe that car had the inboard mounted coilovers with cantilevers. It was built by Profile Racing in Flemington and was Wayne's car even though it was in Buzzie's colors. I saw Buzzie run it in a heat at Nazareth once and he was a rocket! I don't think this car ran that often, though... |
01.06.16 | Rick Shive | Those little short springs are part of the independent front end. This is a Profile chassis, and they designed an A frame front end for this car, don't know if it was real successful. The springs appear to be inboard mounted. |
01.07.16 | 3Wide | Thanks for the information John & Rick. |
01.07.16 | Ricky Rutt | That is definitely a profile car with the
cantilever front end and vertical frame hoops. The Rags Carter 4jr coupe
ran the same frame. |
