Photo is most likely from 1975. Nolan Swift built his own cars and this one had quite the history. In November ’75, Swift put the late Richie Evans in this car for one race, at Thompson CT. Evans won. It was Evans’ only supermodified victory. The car was sold to Dave Snyder who renumbered it 77 and hired Bentley Warren to drive it starting in the ’76 season. Warren won several features with the car. The biggest victory came on the dirt in the 1978 Syracuse Supernationals. |
