from Mike: I received this pic from Fred Sudlow, thought you'd like it for the
vault. Fred told me obtained this in a box of pics he obtained at an estate sale,
the photographers' name is unknown but there was stuff from all over the place and Fred
knew I was a Brightbill fan. I have no idea where this is from but I would suspect it's
from Anderson Speedway or another on the NDRA series. So, Photo provided by, Fred Sudlow Photographer, unknown Track, Anderson speedway (?) If you could drop a link in the text: http://www.fredsresinworkshop.com . This guy (Fred) is one of those responsible for allowing us modelers to build authentic repros of those great modifieds from the day. |

01/23/07 | George Perkins | I saw this car run at Pearson Speedway in Louisville, Mississippi in the late seventies at an NDRA show. He flat had them covered when the track was heavy, sat on the pole. He either had a poor tire choice or a terrible dry slick set up because when the green flew for the feature he went backwards quickly. |
01/29/07 | Barry Miller | I never saw this car race but I know that when Kenny first started running with The NDRA a lot of guys complained that his car was just a modified with a Camaro body on it. He did not have the money behind him that some of the other drivers did but they always knew he was there. He won the last NDRA race there ever was, I think in NC, and he only received half of the prize money because there was a small crowd that night. Keep those good pics coming. |
