Comment: Jim Horton Sr is an amazing individual. He has
fielded cars for the last 5 decades for drivers Dudey
Baubey, Mike Grbac, Sammy Beavers, Bob Pickell, son Jimmy Horton, Fritz
Epright, Stan Ploski, George Makuch, Jimmy Horton IV, Jesse Bonaduce... and
many others along the way... And Jim even took a shot at driving by entering
the rookie division as a driver back in the early/mid 80's. I don't think Mr. Horton ever stops thinking about ways to make modified go fast... He is from the generation where you didn't have what you need, so you made do with what you had, and just made the rest. He is what short track dirt track racing was always supposed to be. |
