Comments: Comment from Joel (son):  The picture was probably by the track photographer but I have no idea who that was.  There's no credit on the back.  The track is Nutley Velodrome, Nutley, NJ 1938.  The car was a second hand Harley powered midget that he and his friend owned.  My dad drove it.  They never won against the likes of Tony Bettenhausen, Paul Russo, Tommy Hinnershitz, Frankie Bailey and other hot dogs of the day.  He was lucky to have survived those few years that Nutley ran the Midgets.
