06.24.12 Mark Makuch Jack, You are not JUST a racing photographer,  You capture SO much more.
06.26.12 George Gwynn Sad. I've seen far more racing facilities torn down....... than built up, during my lifetime.

06.27.12 Wallace Ace It still sucks to this day to see this place torn down. I started going there in the late 60's till the last race in the 80's. Miss all the good times and all the good people that where always there. Some folks didn't like old Jerry but he was a hell of a promoter. Fine photo Jack, shows the end of an era in a small town.
06.26.12 Edward Smith This picture really tells the story. To see Jerry Fried watching his facility being dismantled singled an end of an era. I have so many great memories of attending races at Nazareth with my father from the early 60's until the final days of the facility. Also don't believe we ever missed a race at the 1 1/8 mile track as well.

Very sad to see the speedway come to an end. Thanks for posting this picture.
07.02.12 Dominic Korzecki My father went to Nazareth starting in the early 60's and took my sister and I starting in the early 80's up until it closed. I still remember watching the final enduro in the fall before they closed the gates. It was especially sad because looking back from the grandstands you could see Penske's track flags waving and you knew that the dirt days of Nazareth were really over. Every time I come back to visit I drive around the entire shopping plaza, picturing where everything was The Fried and Vicari years were the best !
