We all learn a lot from our fathers... Some learn more than
others.... Known as one tough racer and one of the most clever, Roy
Pauch was always tough in his white #15 racers. In this great Jack Kromer photo, Roy is keeping an eye on son Billy at a 1989 Flemington event. There's no doubting Billy's natural ability, and I'm thinking that just as important are all those things that he learned from from his dad along the way. I wonder how many of those 600+ checkered flags were seen not only through Billy's eyes, but also through Roy's eyes... Thank you Jack Kromer for providing this great photo of Mr. Pauch. |
