Comments: | Coming back
from Speedweeks last year I had a conversation with a lady who was seated next to me on
the plane. We got talking about local racing in NJ as although we were in Florida,
she was from North Jersey. I mentioned our website had pictures from the good old
days, and she immediately asked, "Do You Have Any Pictures of Les Farley"?
She said that her dad used to take her to Flemington when whe was in her young
teens and that her and her best friend rooted for Les only!!! I hope she finds our site and sees this great shot of Les with his great big smile at just another night at the speedway during a time that we thought would go on forever.... |

01/01/04 | Brett | The photo has to be 69 or 70 , it was taken by Ace Lane . Les passed away around 20 or so years ago , I still talk to his wife "Cat" as much as I can - real class woman - she's a lot of fun . The original 8x10 was actually signed, "Best Wishes, Les Farley". |
01/30/04 | Helen Lautenbach | Les Farley was my Uncle. I got to see him race a few times. Wish I could have gone to Flemington more often. He was a great man. I miss him. |
06/18/04 | Glenn Grafton | I remember Les driving the black #808 sportsman cars at Flemington. Les was very competive against the modifieds in these cars. |
