| Comments: | There are a lot of good people involved in this sport and Ray Liss has proving to be as valuable off the track today as he was exciting on the track back in the 70's. Most are familiar with Ray's immaculate #10's of which his tiny little Gremlins had most of the sportsman guys scratching there heads for a pretty good chunk of the mid 70's. Since hanging up the helmet from a competitive standpoint, Ray continues to be very involved with vintage racing and I've noticed that he is one of the first to volunteer when fund racing is called for. He's a competitor, a fabricator, a supporter of short track racing and a real ambassador for our sport. |

| 11/14/03 | BOBBY FIORELLO | ILL NEVER FORGET THE TIME AT FLEMINGTON WHILE IN THE WARMUPS I WAS IN LES KATONAS K3 JUST CRUISING AROUND SCARED OUT OF MY MIND BUT TRYING TO THROW IT SIDEWAYS,, THE NEXT THING I SEE IS RAYS #10 BLOWING BY ME OUT OF TURN 2, AND SIDEWAYS INTO 3....... THEN I REALIZED IY WAS TIME TO BRING IT IN..I SAID TO RAY THANX ALOT FOR SCARING THE HELL OUT OF ME MAN.. HE JUST LAUGHED AND SAID NOW THATS HOW YOU GET AROUND THE FLEM.......NO MORE WARMUPS FOR BOBBY,,AT LEAST WHEN RAY WAS OUT THERE...GREAT TO SEE YOU ARE STILL INVOLVED,, THANX FOR ALL THOSE YEARS WE RAN AGAINST EACH OTHER,,YOU WERE THE BEST AT THROWING IT AROUND.
