and Engines" features one of the toughest competitors the sport has known.
Craig, a big strong guy who could do his talking on and off the track, wasn't shy when it
came to letting you know where you stood with him (whether a competitor, official, etc...)
at any given moment. But the bottom line was you knew where you stood! Now before you go thinking you have the whole thing figured out, factor in that Craig had a very clean driving style on the track and was always willing to get involved in bigger issues to help better the sport and in particular, help out at the speedways that he competed on. Craig could often be found working the heavy equipment in preparation and during the night's event. Craig's sons John, Darren and Jeff see to it that the McCaughey name carries on proudly, each with their own list of accomplishments in our sport. |
