| Comments: | Comment from Scott Ely: Attached is a photo owned by my mom Ruth Ely. It was taken in 1967 at East Windsor. The note on the back of the photo says this accident resulted from the "Tasnady drift". I remember that race as Pee Wee was trying to pass Al Tasnady in the Piscopo 39 for the win when Al "drifted a little high" going into the 3rd turn. This photo shows the results. Although not sure, believe the photo is the work of Ace Lane Sr. |
