from Wayne: I was 15 years old in July 1976 when I took these four
photos with my Kodak Instamatic camera. I dreamt of racing at that time, and took pictures
of cars I liked so that I could make my most important decision--what color would my race
car be! The most successful of the drivers pictured above was George Wambold. He won 35 career features (most in Park history) and won the Sportsman point title in 1984. Wambold also had a bit of success at Nazareth in the 70's and early 80's. |
