11/06/04 Wayne Urffer This was my favorite driver when I was a kid in the 60s! Cornelius "Bimpy"
Marx had 29 career feature wins (2nd highest total in track history), and won track titles in 1961 and 1965. I also remember him driving a #23 car in the same color scheme as the #27. Every fan loved that smile! Bimpy is still living in Schnecksville, PA, last I heard.
11/25/05 Tom Hofacker Bimpy is living in Whitehall, Pa. He still looks good and has the same smile. He eats lunch just about every day at Bruno's old resteraunt, which is now owned by the ex co-owner of the Ken Erney Imperial Excavating #3 car.
06.13.11 Bill Fisher Most of the Dorney Park driver pictures were taken by my father Fred Fisher. He was a track photographer at Dorney and Nazareth. His most famous picture was on the front of AARN when Del George flipped the 666 down the Nazareth straightaway.
06.23.13 tigerbarb15 One of the all time greats to race at Dorney Park. Those were the days. He always brought excitement to the track and the sport. He was a personal friend of my Mom and we always got to talk to him after the races, very personable guy. He has since passed
