Comment from Robert: August 29, 1981 at Dorney Park was a
great night for Charley Gilmore Fans. He had been running at Grandview but
he returned to Dorney Park for 3 races in August, 1981. In this Mel Stettler picture, Charley Gilmore has just gotten underneath Freddy Hamm for the lead in the feature. While Freddy Hamm was declared the winner on a protest, the promoter credited Charley with his 28th feature win at Dorney Park; third in all time feature wins.
