Comments: Big frontstretch crash captured in photo by Doris Lemasters involving at least 7 cars.  The photos capture what it is like when one second you're sitting in the stands watching cars racing by, and the next second chaos breaks out with the frightening sounds and sights as cars crash and grind into each other.  As you can see, there's a small fire under the hood of the #14.  The track crew rushes over to the badly damaged #39 to try to provide aid to driver George Ameman as a driver (possibly Clyde Suydam - driver of the #37V) sits on the wall with his helmet still on, catching his breath from what had just happened.  In the bottom picture, the driver of the #28N hold his head, as he tries to figure out what just happened as bumpers and leaf springs are scattered across the track.  Not sure but it looks like kinda like Bob Pickell walking by in street clothes and sandals walking the #28N in the bottom picture.

That is Clyde in the blue suit. He let me use that suit and towed my first enduro car to Nazareth. He and his son, Wes Suydam, helped me that day. Really great family.
