06.30.12 | Hank Winecker | At the front of the 44 CB Engineering car, that's Rick Cozze standing along side the engine. |
06.30.12 | 3Wide | Thanks Hank. Any idea who was driving the #44 on this day. I've seen pictures of Tas and of Stan driving the car, but am not sure who would have been behind the wheel at this point. |
06.30.12 | Brian Fritz | I believe that the white coupe near the fence is Charlie Gilmore. |
06.30.12 | Terry Fick | This is what a modifed should look like. What a great shot. |
06.30.12 | Hank Winecker | Joe I can't say for sure, but my intuition tells me,........ the 44 has a polecat on the trunk which leads me to believe this is just after Dick Cozze bought the 39 polecat car, so I think this is just as Al Tasnady was starting to run for Cozze's. I don't believe Cozze's ever used the polecat on THEIR cars, just this purchased one from Piscopos. |
07.02.12 | 3Wide | Hank - Was this car a former #39? |
07.02.12 | Hank Winecker | Yes, it is my belief this 44 was previously a Piscopo 39. Friend of the Vault Rick Cozze would know for sure. |

I believe Tas started driving for Cozze in March of 1969. |
