02.18.13 Aintgotime4this Wow, did this grassroots Modified driver ever make racing history. 3-time Daytona 500 winner, Winston Cup Champion, NASCAR Hall of Famer. He is the most successful of his many race car driving contemporaries from Miami, Florida. Just think about how many wins and championships here in the Northeast were taken by Native Floridians.
02.18.13 3-Wide In addition to the above he showed his versatility by competing in the Indy 500 too back in the early/mid 70's.

Jim Kelleher

This was at a special 50 lapper on a Wednesday night in August 1965 to benefit the Farmingdale First Aid. The Trenton 200 for Nascar Modifieds was rained out on Sunday and Allison stayed up North until the race was run on the following Sunday and decided to run this race at Wall. The race was won by Joe Kelly in the Dick Barney #14. Kelly lapped everyone twice and if I recall it was only a 50 lap race

Look at that essentially unmolested '36 Chevy coupe top in the background.....

uncut windows...and the black background makes stand out more...
