Terry Fick

If it's the same guy it's Red Lesher, not Reds, another friend of my father.  He drove the Electric Heat Special at Reading, a red car with blue trim and Reddy Kilowatt on the side.  If I remember (I was only maybe 10 at the time) the car was number 11.  I forget the owner.

Thank you Terry for the correction.  The Pa announcer at Alcyon and Vineland Speedways always said Reds, but you are right, he prefered "Red" (real name George, I believe).  I double checked an autograph he signed for me at a Reading Reunion years ago and he signed it as Red. 

Thanks again for helping keep history accurate. Two notes, the car pictured was the 8 Jr. at Alcyon and in a few days I send in another B&W G portrait of Red with the 609 car he drove at Vineland.
