01/10/05 Glenn Grafton Just finished reading a book by Bones Bourcier on the life of Richie Evans, the late great asphalt modified driver. Found out that "Billy O" and Richie were good friends having met back in their All Star Racing League days. They jointly owned an old lodge in upstate New York called the Freeman Hotel where theyused to hang out and party.
05/28/06 Scott These guys use to park next to us at the very west end of the center pit row and every Saturday night with out fail they would break out the water melon and everyone in the area was welcome to have some. I saw a lot of fights in the pits over the years, this was one of the better memories.
