That Power glide tranny sat in the window at Newton Speed, 1 day I noticed it was gone, I asked Artie where it went, he told me and I forgot all about it, until saw Karl run with it, I was awed, then there was the night when I was sitting in turn #3 and he came around with his floor board on the ground , wide open in to the wall, I went right home and made a way to mount my go pedal in my as then, unfinished chassis , so that that could never happen. I rooted for him a lot, particularly after realizing he ran a SBC engine. |

All of Karl's motors and trans can straight from the junkyard!! I worked with him for many years, and he rebuilt everything !! He may have had some machine work done by Feil, but everything was someone's junk. Believe it!!! That makes his runs, that much special !! |
