It's an El Camino? Who's in the #87? |

Is this the dirt/asphalt deal? Looks like dirt tires on the cars, did he run this car at Nazareth for the dirt/asphalt show? |
11.19.12 | 3-Wide | I don't know... Neither car looks familiar too me and I spent a lot of time there in the late 80's and during the 1990 season. Because of my unfamiliarity of either of the 2 cars, I just assumed that it was after the 1990 season, but I could be totally wrong. Somebody out there will set us straight... |

OK look at the tire sitting on the ramp truck behind
the girl in acid washed jeans. Thats a slick. No reason for a racing slick
to be at Flemington before 1991. The RF tire also looks like it has no tread
but its tough to be 100% sure. |
11.24.12 | 3Wide | Are you trying to tell me that acid wash jeans are no longer in style? (Oops....) Time for some new jeans! |

This Bob McCreadie creation was featured in Stock Car Racing magazine as “Barefoot Bob’s Amazing Tar Car.” It was one of the first DIRT asphalt modifieds to be built. It was eventually fitted with front end upper and lower control arms (which were later outlawed). |

That is at least 1993. The 87 is Ed Gilligan. That 87 car was the Coors 1 car that Dick Durica drove until the end of the 1992 season Also, That's car owner Gene Gilligan on the rollback. |
