Comments: | After
winning the rookie championship in 1981(?), Art then went on to be a solid runner in the
sportsman and then the modified division. Then Art took a couple of years off from
driving, but still stayed very much involved in the sport with his "Art's
Radiator" business... (Well... actually it was more than a couple of years
off!) Over the last few years, Art could be found driving the Tom Carberry Sr. #947 on occasion at New Egypt Speedway and this year (2007) Art has had some good runs in the Tom Carberry Sr. #47 in the tough Modified division at New Egypt Speedway. His business, "Art's Radiator" is the place to go to keep your cool no matter what you are racing or riding around in (oval, dirt, asphalt, drag, street rod, classic car). As you're looking through the Vault, check out how many cars have "Art's Radiator" written somewhere on their car. Art has helped out a lot of racers. Speaking of helping out, for those of you who have stopped by "The Vault" at New Egypt Speedway, Art helped us out quite a bit in supporting our efforts to get the place fixed up - So from the visitors of "The Vault", Thanks Art! |
