... what an interesting photo from Rick Sweeten... Take a good
look at it... Think about what happened on this day at Syracuse, and then
you tell me... is it a perfect photo or what? Gary was in another zone on this day and that's exactly what I see when I look at this photo. |

10.16.10 | Wayne Heiserman | Look at the fans. Stunned and bewildered. I was there that day. That about summed up my reaction. |
10.16.10 | 3Wide | You definitely get it Wayne... I wasn't there, but from what I've heard and read, this photo... with the #112 streaking by... out of focus... almost out of the frame... with the fans and the flagger seemingly to be still trying to catch up to the action! |
12.08.10 | Charlie Miller | You don't see many fans jumping up and cheering the winner, maybe they realized that modified racing was going to change forever. Love it, or Hate it , it did just that. You could love it because what car owner or driver doesn't hope to have the dominate car or set-up that just BLOWS everyone away. Something so powerful nobody can touch it. For those that hated it, the little guy just got shot down again. The small team, owner-driver operation took a big hit this day. No longer could they keep running the same chassis and set-up year after year and expect to keep up, more or less win one every now and then. |
