Comments: Long before there was "Fitty Cent", there was the $, and behind the wheel on this day was Stan Ploski.  Speaking of $$$'s and Stan "The Man", I still believe like many that if given the right opportunity, Stan could still get the job done even against some of today's best.  The only problem is I don't have the $'s to prove it out.....

HOWEVER, if you do, or know of somebody who owns a business that could use some mega publicity, send me an email and let's see what the visitors of the Vault can come up with.  Hey, Billy's got the father and son deal...   Anybody up for a Stan and Stan two car team?  If you guys could pull that off, I just might have to go find Bill Singer so we could all hear him say "Stan - The Man..... Po - losssssss - ski" again!

11/19/03 Dominic K This was the newer of the two chassis' that Stan ran with the dollar sign. This has to be 88' or 89' (Todd L will probably know for sure). If we could get a sponsor and Burkett to agree, I volunteer my services to drive up the mountain in Ringoes to lay down the offer. I would love nothing more than to see him run again. And if we can't get Bill Singer, I'm sure Nick Leach wouldn't mind letting out the "Stan-The Man...Po-losssssss- ski!!" Awesome picture Rich and thanks for posting it Joe !
11/19/03 Kevin Budden Just think of the joy I could bring to thousands of fans if I can only hit the lottery!!   Kevin Budden......
11/20/03 Stan Ploski III I know my dad would love to race again, but he would only come back for a good ride.  I know he still has it.  As far as a two team deal, that would be great.  I think we would make a car owner very happy.   With some luck, it may happen.
11/20/03 3-Wide The sport is better off with both of you on the track and I'm NOT talking about just a one or 2 race deal.  Maybe I'm over estimating the power of our website, but I gotta think that there is somebody out there that knows somebody, that has a friend...., that.....,  you know what I mean.

Maybe somebody has a chassis and somebody else a motor... Whatever...  I'm sure that there would be enough excitement to get a crew together!

As far as exposure...., if anyone would step up to the plate and support an effort to get the Ploski's back on the track, I'll give their business homepage exposure on our website to zillions of racefans..., (well maybe not zillions, but the site is pretty popular with some pretty great people) and I'll write and distribute a weekly recap of the team's activities for the entire season!

If fact, we could do a deal where the Vault could ask for volunteers to pay for the fuel bill for each night of racing and in exchange, we will feature their name, their message, or their company on our homepage as well.

It's not much, but it's a start.

Come on you guys who work in construction, or environmental, or the mortgage industry or wherever....  Hopefully you guys are having a good year and can write off a % for advertising and in the process do something that this sport really needs right now!

11/22/03 Todd Lewis For sure that is 88 or 89 (thanks for the plug Dom) this was before Stan went down the back and had the throttle stick causing him to wreck hard and destroy the $ . I was there that night with the Burket 27KC and will never forget them cutting the cage to remove Stan. Stan Ploski is a true legend and I would love to see him suit up again
04/25/05 Fred What is Stan Ploski doing these days?
