Car #: #44, 704, & 44D
Driver (s) : C.D. Coville, Fritz Epright and Ralph Rue
Location: Flemington, NJ
Date: Late 80's or 1990

Comments: C.D. leads the way off of 4 in the beautiful Romeo #44.  I could be wrong about this, but that #704 looks a lot like the #143 that Fritz is running this year at New Egypt Speedway which is a former Trenton Mack car.   (Fritz purchased the #143 from Tony Leonard's father and is running the car with the same paint and # as Tony had prepared to run it for the 92 season.  He was a talent behind the wheel and a great guy out of the car and is still missed today).

06/22/03 Todd L The 704 looks to be a Bicknell chassis, The O Shea's during 1 season campaigned Troyer's , Tobias's , Olsen's and Bicknell's.  I am going to guess this is also the 1989 season as I think CD only drove the 44JR for a season or two. Look closely this may not be CD may be Brightbill (trying to read the name on the roof)
06/22/03 Todd J By looking at the front bumper and the thingy on the hood, I would guess that it is a Bicknell car. Hoffman had a 125 that was a Bicknell around this time too... The 143 is a Olsen...
06/22/03 Todd L 704 definitely a Bicknell look at the frame rails, the early chassis that Pete produced had down tubes similar to a sprinter.   (Yup, that's CD not Brightbill)
8/24/03 Steven Fegley Thats CD.  It must be 87 or 88.   Kenny drove the 44 from 89- 92.  When they paved flemington, Doug Hoffman drove it.  Kenny built his own car and raced it on the asphalt with help from Shammy Shine car washes, and he also raced Mark Fusco's 17 a few times.
11/30/03 KEVIN BUDDEN AHH - CD -  ALWAYS A BLAST TO SEE HIM RUN AT ANY TRACK! CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR INDUCTION INTO THE HALL OF FAME.
02/08/04 Skip McPherson C.D. could really drive.Remember his Perth Lumber wagon?
02/08/04 3-Wide Wasn't that a Chevy II Station Wagon or something?   Remember guys, if it didn't run Flemington or EWS in the 70's that often, I'm gonna need help!
01/18/06 Todd Lewis This is CD in1989 Brightbill had the seat of the 44JR in 1990 after Ray Bateman passed away.
