Thanks to Todd L, he identified the #14 as Carmen Scarpati (Lawrence Engineering), and I remember Rick from his Corvette bodied Street Stock days! I know Rick broke his arm in a crash at East Windsor, but I think he returned to do battle once again... |

03/21/03 | Todd L | This is a picture of the "Little Bud" Racing team that was owned by Willy Delisa I notice Cheesequake Auto Body which was one of Delisa'a long time backers. The driver may be Carmen Scarpati (Lawrence Engineering is also on the car). Rick Lebbing did indeed break his arm at EWS in a crash and did return the following year. For the rest of the year following his injury Rick had worked a deal with another racer Rich Schadewald to carry the sponsors of "Team Ugly" on the panels of his # 73 |
