03/19/03 | Todd L | I believe Jim Long ran with A&B garage powerplants and was sponsored by his own Priority One Trucking the chassis may have been a Troyer |
03/20/03 | Jim Long Jr | This chassis was a king copy by Cimpko the motor was home built. I did have a new Troyer in 1990 and when we ran the black top in 1992 we then switched to the A and B powerplants. we now run a Race Works chassis on the ROC mod tour and we will run selected shows on the Featherlight Mod tour in 2003. Nice shot by the way man I miss those days!! Thanks JIM LONG JR |
03/20/03 | Todd L | If my memory is right this shot of Jim Long was on the front page of AARN shortly after it was taken Todd L |
03/21/03 | Todd L | The Cimpko that Jim Long is referring to is Tom Cimpko who built a few cars in his day including a # 27Xrated that was piloted by his future Son In Law and current URC racer Scott Pursell. |
