03/19/03 Todd J HOW ABOUT THAT 77H OF CHIC COSSABOONE!  I would guess this is 1985 when he was running for C&J Hoffman and was sponsored by Earthwork, plus Gizmo debutted around this time in the mid 80's. On the outside pole is the ever potent 026 of Newt Hartman. The last time I saw Newt was a couple of years back at Motorama, when he was helping his nephews with their 24 and 026 Slingshots.... I think he took a turn in George Unfried's SS at NES as well....

How come they didn't need the big euclid tires back then to keep'em on the track?

03/26/03 Todd L How great is this shot? The S & H 85 which appears to be an Olsen Chassis (note the body Gizmo was more like an S & S style body) and Newt in the 026 plus Chic in the 77 (where has Chic gone)?
03/28/03 Todd J The S&H 85 in this picture is Gizmo, as can be seen by the chassis construction (compare it with the other picture of it on this site). Chic and Newt are most likely in Olsen cars. Chic is still growing grass at the farm... Chic JR made his debut in an Outlaw Stock race last season at Bridgeport in Tracey Rocap's second car.
07/04/03 Jeff McClung One of Jimmies great creations, one of the reasons Jimmy rates so high on my list, he built most of the cars he was so successful with in his career, how rare.
