great photo from Steve - Bobby Ayres ran this former Dean Applegate coupe
first as a sportsman and then followed up by running it in the modified
division. Bob then had a Gremlin bodied car painted like the one
above, and also drove the #32A on many occasions, among other rides.
I always felt that Bob was one of those really well liked drivers who got out there, ran hard, and let his driving do the talking. Definitely a Vault Favorite. |
