Comments: | Here's
Al Tasnady with the what I always referred to as Schloeder's #K46, however I'm sure that
Tom Carberry Sr. was involved too... Not sure if he did the engines on the #K46 or
the rest of it too, but hopefully you guys can provide the details. I remember Tas
being in this car for a while and then Mike Grbac got behind the wheel and had some
success with it. I was told that the car was kept somewhere over
by Newtown or Yardley, Pa back in the day... |

11/24/07 | Walter Onora | Yes, that is definitely Bob Toreky in the background. The "K-46" is one of Al Tasnady's last rides. Somehow, I remember Al and Mike Grbac tangling at Flemington in a feature race. I believe Al had the lead and Mike was in second. How ironic, MIke Grbac drove this modified, after Al left driving the K-46. |
12/01/07 | Glenn Grafton | Odd body style for a modified of that era. A Plymouth Valiant if I'm correct. I do remember Geoff Bodine driving a asphalt modified at Trenton with a Valiant body and hemi powered. |
12/09/07 | John Stover | Al really looked uncomfortable in this car at Reading and then retired. |
