Comments: | Always
a strong runner, Phil Meisner drove a few different cars including an a couple of yellow
coupes (an old Lenny Martin car and the Allison & Hustack #71).
He won some races behind the wheel of his own #17, and I also know that
he drove one that Bill Singer always referred to as the "Larry Marvel" owned
car. Many of the Vault Vistors will remember Phil behind the wheel of Barry
Schenck's "#A. I remember him running a blue #22 Gremlin in the early
80's too. Always fast and always smooth, it was good to see Phil a few years back running one of the Carberry cars at New Egypt Speedway (2005?). |

11/24/07 | Walter Onora | One of the most consistant drivers at Flemington. Phil did have a winning streak at Flemington for so many seasons. I forget the number, but it was at least 5-6 seasons ,probably more!! |
