Comments: I know this picture is a little blurry, but its still a favorite of ours here in the Vault.   I don't know if this car was once a #19 or not, but the way Fred is sitting behind the wheel combined with the agressive stance reminds me of Kenny's Pinto that he ran in the early to mid 70's.  Being a Flemington and EWS fan, I only got to see Fred run on special occassions and on our occassional trips to Bridgeport.

07/05/06 Greg Chelak Looks to be Reading! The dirt peeling off as it often did in the corners.
07/05/06 Mike Shaub The location is Reading Fairgrounds coming off of the second turn.

I believe that the president of the Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society has this and will be restoring it in the future. He was removing some old paint on a Tony Hirshman modified to see what was underneath and it was a Freddy Brightbill car. If this isn't the one, he does have an old Freddy Brightbill car to be restored.

08/04/06 Chuck Hassler It should look a lot like Kennys car. Kenny built this car for Freddy, In fact Kenny asked Freddy to borrow it after wrecking his own car.  Kenny proceeded to disassemble the front end and reassemble it the way his were assembled and proceed to win the consi and a top three finish in the feature.  [PS some where out there some photographer has a picture with the front end disassembed. I think I saw one in a racing paper.]
