a picture of Mike in Victory Lane with the #616 usually driven by Ron Stashuk. From
what I hear, Mike and Ron were good friends and it looks like Mike found the fast way
around in the orange #616 built by "Knucklehead" as mentioned on the 1/4 panel! You gotta wonder how many of us are hanging on the fence in the background of this photo! |

| 06/03/06 | Walter Onora | What a great driver! Still missed today!! Mike was a man of many rides. I remember Mike driving the family owned 7, the King Chevrolet mount out of Staten Island, also the Acella modified, Joe Leto's 50,and so many other modifieds. He was one of my favorites!!! |

Mike was running a solid race but sure wasn't going to be able to catch and pass the Jim Horton III #43 car when suddenly Horton pulled off the track on the backstretch handing Mike the win in the Stashluk #616. |
