04/02/06 Clint READING
04/13/06 Bob Becker Joe, didn't the Paulsons buy the Anthony Furniture Mustang? Could this be it after they dropped a big block in it?
04/13/06 3-Wide Being a Flemington / EWS guy, I only remember the Anthony Furniture Mustang from seeing it in AARN when I was a young teenager.  I'll yield to the Reading Faithful on this one.....
04/13/06 Scott Pacich Yup. This was the second Anthony's Furniture Mustang.
04/16/06 Barry Miller This was Ronnie's car in '76. It looks like opening day because the car looks pretty clean. I was a pitcrew member on this car as a teenager.

This car was the second Anthony's Furniture car and Ronnie won his first feature in this car at U.S.13 that year. It was their closing show, I think it was a 76 lapper. Unfortunately, I was not able to see him win his first feature but I saw him win most of the features that he won the next year.

In 1977 Ronnie won 16 features and the Modified point championship at U.S.13, he had a great year. In '78 he won three features and they were the last features he won in that car. He was awesome to watch at U.S.13,
he ran the high groove like no one else could.

Unfortunately, he had a heart attack a few years ago and passed away. I have a lot of good memories of him racing at Grandview, Reading, Bridgeport and U.S.13.
05/02/06 pilgram Clint. help me out here.  Where at Reading was this many power lines? I do not think so.   Location? - I don't know, but not Reading.
06/29/06 Allen Urry Barry, I grew up in the pits of US 13 in the mid 70's and remember your team very well. Ronnie was awesome at Delmar. I can remember a couple of skirmishes with Walt Breeding's crew when the two came together in turn 4. So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing.
07/05/06 Mike Feltenberger Outside the third turn was the railroad tracks.  These are the power lines that ran parallel with them.  They also carried much needed power to the Clover Farms Dairy and also to the Fairgrounds.
