Comments: The photo may be a litte dark, but it's light enough to show how cool cars were back in the late 70's.  I'm pretty sure that is Gene Coyle followed by Frankie in his Grant King car, with Charlie Shire following closely.  Kind of a neat photo how it captures the motion and the different lines drivers took to get through the corners...

09/07/05 Bob Turlip Yes that's my old buddy Gene Coyle's 65. I don't think he went to Naz to often.
09/12/05 Mark Makuch Am I right in remembering Schnieder having a Grant King car and a Kenny Weld car at the same time in the late 70's??
04/15/06 Larry Ferraiuolo Mark, you are right, in the late 70's, Schnieder did own and drive both a King and a Weld car. He did go all out in those years.
09/19/06 Steve Kresge I remember helping Frankie out at Nazareth when he brought the Weld car along with the Pinto.  It was lime green and Mike Grbac was driving it. Thanks, Steve Kresge, Naz. PA
