Comments: | Pat McBride shown above behind the wheel of the #11. Pat also
drove a sprint car in the early 80's for a time and finished in the top 5 or 6 in a URC
event held at Flemington. I could be wrong on this, but I remember Pat also being
associated with a car #K9....??? Pat's son (also Pat) had a real strong showing in New Egypt Speedway's Rookie class a few years back and may also have sported the McBride #11. |

04/18/05 | Mark Yaple | The Tony K. owned #11 was driven by Pat during the '70 season and recorded back to back victories at East Windsor & Flemington in the same weekend. Brother Lee took over the driving chores of the 11 in '71 and added a NJ Sportsman Championship to his resume. |
05/07/05 | Paul Madsen | I was wondering if you remember the #K9 that Pat McBride drove. I remember seeing it after the races at Flemington and it had a wierd intake. |
05/07/05 | 3-Wide | I could be wrong, but I kind of remember the car being an orange sedan, but I may have it confused with another. Thought it was a cool # since my father and I sold rabbit dogs! |
11/18/05 | Pat McBride | The intake you are refering to was a tunnel ram. The orange sedan K9 was previously peewee griffon's 72, which raced at Trenton Spdwy. |

I seem to recall sometime in the mid 70’s Pat McBride driving a really cool purple and white sedan in the modified ranks. I believe the number was 778? Anyone recall this particular car. Perhaps he was just in it one time, but I definitely remember that car, since I was always a fan of sedans. |
