Comments: Neat looking Jim Horton Sr. owned Mustang bodied #43 that was driven by Sammy Beavers.  Pretty trick looking paint job... and with the white wheels, really looked good on what may have been an opening day shot at Nazareth.   Unfortunately I think I remember this car flipping at East Windsor with Sam escaping uninjured.

09/06/04 John Mc Notice the figure 8 track in the background? It looks like it was still in use then. I thought the figure 8's were neat, don't know why they did away w/ them.
11/23/04 Scott Pacich My racing career was going to start in 1974 with a figure 8 car at Nazareth.  I spent a good part of 1973 building it with Chuck Burger, Otto's son. '53Chevy, set back 6 cylinder, full NASCAR type roll cage. Of course Nazareth dropping them for '74 ended that...Ah, what might have been...
11/23/04 3-Wide Figure 8 huh....  Had you figured for the logical, rational, intelligent type...  I always figured there's enough to hit on an oval, nevermind putting an intersection in the middle of it!
