Comment: One of the cars that I remember as being a
"Flemington car." What I mean by that is I went to East Windsor from
the late 60's right on into the 70's, but didn't start going to Flemington
weekly until the early 70's. This is one of the cars that I remember
seeing at Flemington and taking a picture of with my old Kodak 110. It
was orange and had a tough look to it. In this picture, it looks like
it cold be opening day as the car looks super clean including the wheels and
tires, and even the front bumper and screen. It is because of cool looking creations like this, and the guys that drove them, that I became a fan for life. |

I believe that this hot rod is a former Bill Wentz owned 57 that was driven by Kenny Brightbill. I also recall that Kenny bought this car which was then run as his # 19. |
