I’m thinking this could be taken at Syracuse. I see the Dry Brake used for quick refueling, the car looks like it is on the cinder track around the infield and it looks like October in upstate NY weather by the way they are dressed. A brand new M&H Racemaster (probably a 591) on the RR. Up until 1977 they were the tire of choice up there. This looks like possibly his last coupe because it’s showing some very modern appointments. Buzzie was the “king of the coupes”.

Wow, I just love this shot… Simple and just at the right angle and yes Buzzie was definitely great to all his fans young and old.. One of the last things I got to do with my now deceased father was going to OCFS for the “old timers day” as I called it and seeing my father’s eyes light up when he saw and got to talk with Buzzie… There’s a video on YouTube of it that I watch from time to time… Did anyone else notice that the picture was taken by Paul Irving and there Bob Perran Racing Photos on the car….?? Maybe Bob has some more shots of this car on this particular day??

Thanks for the memories 3Wide,

Hey Anthony:  If that was a 591 on the RR, do you think there was a 659 on the LR? Lol….
