Comments: Comment:  Great photo of a the modifieds heading away from the camera.  It's great to see a sedan leading the way as by this time, the sedans were getting harder and harder to find until by the mid 70's there were only a handful left.

Just behind Wilbur is Pee Wee Griffin who I don't remember being a regular Saturday night runner at Flemington.  I could be wrong on that, but I always just associated Pee Wee with East Windsor.  Does anyone know if Pee Wee ran Flemington on a regular basis or could this be from a special mid week or extra distance event?

If that is indeed Tas in the K46, it has to be 1972.

02.04.15 3Wide Thanks Bill.  A recently posted trivia question posted taught us that Phil Meisner, Al Tasnady, Mike Grbac, Bobby Pickell and Kerry Schloeder all drove the #K46 Valiant at some point.  The info provided with the photo is that on this night, it was Tas driving.

For most of his time up north Pee Wee’s Saturday night track was Orange County in Middletown, NY.  Although I was always a big Pee Wee fan, I felt he never adapted to the Flemington “square”.  I even recall him running Wall Stadium at least once.
