Comment: Ronnie sure looks proud standing next to the #33, and
from what I see, he has every reason to. When you talk about
uniqueness of the body styles of the early 70's... and how the cars had
personality.... and you see the style, the colors, the white wheels and in
this case, even a little oil to shine up the sidewalls (not sure if Armour
All was around yet)... and then you get to climb behind the wheel and
roll out to the big stage.... Well, Ronnie should be proud. Great photo by Terry Shaub and we think of our friend Ed Shaub who always wanted us to keep the memories alive.... |

And proud you should be Ronnie. Such a nice looking racer, your cars were always top notch. They didn’t run too bad either. I have to admit , your looking pretty young in this photo, just how old were you then? Was this your first racer, and your rookie season? |

Thanks for the compliments Charlie. It is very possible looking at the photo ,it may have been my very 1st night at the track. Was 18 when I started & at that time I had to have my parents sign for me at Reading to be legally permitted to race !! Thanks , Ronnie |
