Comments: | What a great Harold Caughy one of a kind photo.... Some memorable moments were made for all of us while watching these 3 cars, and we all know what was to follow... The coupes... the sedan... the Mulligan Gremlin.... The King cars.... Team Ferraiuolo always had a real solid program and always brought some of the best looking and best performing cars anywhere they rolled in. |

05.16.12 | Jack Kromer | Great picture, Anthony. Bonus point question- which coupe is the "Hawk" and which one is the "Weasel"? |
05.17.12 | Jack Kromer | The only difference in the coupes that I can see is the one on the right has a round window cutout, different headers and a higher injector box. |
05.19.12 | Anthony | Jack: The "Hawk" is in the back closest to the building. The Sedan was the fox. I'm always pleasantly surprised when people remember the cars nicknames. I think you are right about the differences between the coupes. |
05.22.12 | Jack Kromer | Anthony: Thanks for solving the mystery of which coupe was which. I never knew the sedan had a name. Since your family's first three cars had names, did the King cars have any? |
05.23.12 | Anthony | Not really Jack. The three cars in the picture were nicknamed when brand new and it was lettered right on the car. However two other cars did pick up names along the way. Before the original Mulligan Egge #9 body and sheet metal was changed it sure looked pretty ratty. So the old Mulligan car picked up the name “the Rat”. The other was the oldest of the King cars. Because of the rear lift the car had under acceleration it became the “Frog”. |
05.27.12 | Jack Kromer | Thanks Anthony for all the info you post about the 73's. It's always interesting stuff. |
