Comments: From one section over from where I sat almost every Saturday Night from 1970 to 1990....  Here Bill Humphrey, (or Pat Wohlgemuth see note below) leads the way over Ray Neary and Dave Kneisel.  I'm pretty sure that this was a special show (possibly mid week) as photographer Paul Irving wasn't usually at Flemington on Saturday's - same with Dave Kneisel in the #711.  Maybe one of you guys can help fill in the details.  I'd guess that this photo was from around 1977?

06.13.11 John Wohlgemuth This photo maybe from a 100 lap modified race and the #123 was driven by my dad Pat Wohlgemuth sr. this was a sportsmen car which they let qualify for this race.   He also finished in the top 5 (I believe 4th which payed a bonus to the highest finishing sportsman car)  Bill Humphrey let him drive this car in several extra distance races which he finished in the top 10.   Thanks, John Wohlgemuth
06.13.11 3Wide I think I remember Bill telling me that this was possibly a Ray Liss chassis under the #123???
06.14.11 John Wohlgemuth Yes this was a Liss chassis, also my dads last modified #168 was a Liss chassis that he and Pat Jr built.
