Comment from Joe: Here is one of my favorite photos ever! The
coach on the left is Dave Smeriglio, longtime racer at the now defunct
Danbury Racearena. Dave's grandson, Bubba Broderick is making a name for
himself in a full sized sprint car on the ESS circuit. I am sure you will agree, this is one of the best looking coaches ever... The dirt modified is that of "Cousin Will" Cazzaza. Believe it or not, Will can still get the job done today as he competes in a mini sprint regularly. He ran this coupe at various tracks in the northeast, especially at the Valley. The late Pop Smeriglio was the proud owner of this racing team. This photo was taken in front of The House of Speed, a longtime local racer's sponsor in Danbury, CT. Dave Smeriglio took the photo.
