Comments: Comment from Bill:  I purchased this photo from the late Red Kirsch. Stan Ploski was certainly one of my favorite drivers and I was present for both his Daniel Boone 200 wins (1966 & 67).  If memory serves me correctly, he ran the 707 for part of the season at 5 Mile Point and had quite a few feature wins. I think he also won 7 in a row at East Windsor and had a weekend where he won East Windsor Friday, Flemington Saturday, Nazareth Sunday afternoon and placed in the top 5 at Reading Sunday night. Sure miss the old days.........

12.01.10 3Wide Thanks for providing this photo Bill.  When I think about a dominant car from when I was a kid, this car, with Stan behind the wheel is the first that comes to mind.
12.02.10 Bill Katinowsky Behind Al Tasnady, Ploski was probably my favorite. With that car, I saw him leading twice at Reading that year only to have mechanical problems. The opening race, he had the whole front stretch lead on Gerhart, only to drop out with a few laps remaining. A few weeks later, the first Friday night show, just as he took the lead, coming out of the 4th turn, he moved over to the inside and pulled in the pits. That car could really fly with him. Sort of like when Tas drove the 707.
