Comments: Recipe for a cool Modified:  Take one Falcon body..., slice off roof...., slide roof back about 3 feet & then reattach (if it even is a Falcon roof)...stuff it with a small block (thanks John Mc!)...., and then paint the wheels and headers red!  (Oh yea, make sure it can hold it's own on the track like the B6 always did with Bob at the controls.)

12/30/02 John Mc This car actually had a small block. I don't know if Banghart ever even had a big block. Thx, JMc
12/30/02 3-Wide thanks for keeping us honest around here John Mc.  I know he ran modified with this car, but should have taken a closer look at the headers!
07/10/03 Bobby Banghart B6 always ran various size small block. Never ran big block. Bobby B.
3-Wide Hey Bobby, if you can, let us know a little about the history of this car and if the car was run previously (with different paint), or if this was an original.  Also, I wasn't real sure about the year so let me know if we got that right.

This B6 was a real neat looking car from an era where the diversity of bodies was probably peaking!  A trip to the speedway at this time and you were sure to see a some old sedans and coupes, a bunch of Gremlins and Pintos, a few Vegas and Chevettes, a lot of Mustangs and Falcons, a couple of Corvairs, and even a few Chevy II's & Valiants!

Thanks for the information - 3-Wide

07/18/03 McClung I can recall Tom Hager tossing this car around at the square, Falcon bodies were so awsome, no matter how you mounted them. Jeff
07/18/03 3-Wide I can't remember anyone else in this car, but I can remember Tom Hager tossing that little blue sportsman Falcon that he had around the square in the 1971 or 72 season.
