12/09/02 Bill H You are correct the year is 1970, and Whip was the big winner at Flemington that year with I believe 5 wins. He was not the point champion, that went for the ONLY TIME to Frankie Schneider, who ran Flemington regularly that year in an unpainted primer grey # 50 coupe in blue lettering. Does anyone else remember that year, as it was Paul Kuhl's second year as Flemington promoter and the officials all wore white jumpsuits with red stripes and they sold yellow jackets for the fans with Flemington Speedway on the front next to a stars and stripes pattern. It was also the start if PURPLE becoming Flemington's color as the Dodge Challenger made it debut as well. Oh the memories................
06/13/04 Anthony Ferraiuolo IV This picture is from 1969. We were the big feature winners that year in Flemington but the "Old Man" won the points in a red and white sedan #2. Not enough can be said about Whip. He was a great driver.
10/05/06 Steve Kresge Maybe Anthony would know if this is the same car Rags Carter raced at Nazareth?
10/16/06 Larry Ferraiuolo Yes this our first coupe we had. Rags did drive this same car in I think 1970 for us ( I was 10 years old, hard to remember) at Middletown and Nazareth, could of been 1971, not sure. Then we built a new coupe that Rags was the first driver of, the car had a more rounded side window. Rags was a good driver and won a lot of races for us.
08.28.09  Warrior6661900 Does anyone know if he had a brother who raced at Reading?
09.23.10   CHIP  Ole Ray Martin that use to work his magic on the PA system @ Middletown use to call him the Whipper and the Whipper was another Guy that drove the m1 I think twice in 78" at Middletown and Nazareth..
